Where does your name come from?
Locksley is the name of a place in England. I'm named after Robin of Locksley - better known as Robin Hood!
Do you steal from the rich and give to the poor?
Not usually. I might steal a tasty nom from an unattended plate, though.
When were you born?
I was adopted June 26, 2008. The shelter said I was 9 months old, so we celebrate my birthday September 26th!
How did you meet your people?
I was picked up as a stray in Hyattsville, MD and brought to the Prince George's County Animal Management Division in Forestville, MD. My lady person saw my picture on PetHarbor.com and came for a visit. I was so charming and handsome that she decided to fill out adopt papers right there!
What kind of dog are you?
I'm a mutt! The shelter said I was an Afghan Hound mix. But I'm probably something less fancy :) We think I'm a Collie mix of some kind!
Why are you on the internet?
My lady person does the internet for her job. I get to come to work with her a couple times a week, and it's super fun! I convinced her that I should have my own website.
I didn't know you had a job! How does that work?
I come to work with my lady a couple times a week at Alley Cat Allies. You can learn about how they advocate for the humane treatment of stray and feral cats at their website. I'm responsible for making sure everyone takes a much needed break, making guest appearances in Alley Cat Allies LOLcats, and amusing the office cats.
Even though I work at Alley Cat Allies this blog is my own. All the opinions and other stuff are mine and not reflective of Alley Cat Allies, the Office Cats, or anyone like that. :)
